$2.4 million to over 600 students in 2007ge from $500-$5,000

•    National
•    Hispanic or Hispanic descent (U.S. citizen or permanent resident)
•    Cumulative GPA of 3.0
•    Demonstrate financial need
•    Must be (or plan to be) enrolled full-time as an undergraduate student for the upcoming academic year

FEELS (Food, Environmental, Engineering and Life Science) Scholarship PURDUE University

Mission: FEELS’ mission is to recruit, retain, and prepare high-achieving students with financial difficulties to pursue STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) careers at Purdue University. 

Scholarship: FEELS offers a scholarship of up to $10,000 per student each year (renewable throughout his/her undergraduate career). This amount is in addition to the federal-/Purdue-controlled financial aid that may be granted to students.

Applications Due March

•    High-need student

•    High school grade-point average of 3.3 or above

•    an SAT (V+M+W) minimum score of 1600 

During the application process, priority is given to students from underrepresented backgrounds, students who are first-generation in their families to pursue a college degree, and students willing to make an impact in their communities after they graduate.

 Project Stepping Stone

 Directed by the National Society of Hispanic MBAs Indianapolis Chapter, this project is a FREE one-week college preparatory program helping Hispanic high school students successfully transition to college and beyond. Project Stepping Stone introduces participants to potential careers in business and includes visits to several Indiana college campuses.
