Tanya Valencia SHPE Indiana assisted LA PLAZA at the program called "Madre and Hija" with a presentation and workshop to young latinoe girls about Enginnering fields. The purpose of the workshop was to educate our young Latino audience on the engineering disciplines and make them aware of the exciting field of Engineering and Science. |

Congratulations to our 2008 SHPE INDIANA Scholarship Recipients: 1) HERMES PEREZ - Hermes has been accepted to Purdue University where he will pursue a career in Electrical Engineering. 2) NEBULA SCHULTZ - Nebula has been accepted to Rose Hullman Institue of Technology where she will study Mechanical Engineering.
3) JOSE IRIGOYEN - Jose Irigoyen has been accepted to IUPUI and is planning to study Architectural Engineering. Congratulations to all and best of all. |
