Well Engineer- As a well engineer, you may be responsible for the design, planning and execution of well drilling programs (e.g., casing and mud designs, well control systems, etc.), designing and equipping wells for oil and gas production, drilling optimization, wellsite engineering, etc. You would provide project planning and economics and risk analysis to estimate cost, profitability and valuation. Field Engineer- As a field engineer, you may be asked to design, construct and/or maintain onshore or offshore producing/processing facilities; develop specialized techniques for deepwater marine systems and automatic production controls; design and maintain instrumentation and control systems, etc. You would utilize economics and risk analysis methods to estimate cost, profitability and valuation. Production Engineer- As a production engineer, you will be involved in the full lifecycle of field development. You may contribute to the planning, evaluation, design and completion of wells for oil and gas production; optimization of well, reservoir and equipment performance; planning and economic evaluation of well repair and reconditioning. You would utilize project economics and risk analysis methods to estimate profitability and valuation. Project Engineer- As a project engineer, you may be asked to design, construct and commission all refineries, chemical plants, surface installations and infrastructure. Depending on your role, you could work onshore or offshore on one of many innovative new facility developments. Your responsibilities could cover cost, health and safety, scheduling and quality control and could involve project management responsibilities including budgeting, planning, creating contract strategies, purchasing materials and selecting and supervising contractors, designing and executing engineering projects which could include new surface and onshore facilities for hydrocarbon production, creating design concepts for new facilities, negotiating and managing contracts and managing the execution of the project, developing health, safety and environmental management strategies. Maintenance Support Engineer- As a maintenance support engineer, you’ll provide production plants on refineries and chemical sites, with engineering support on business-critical decisions. You’ll work closely with the operating and engineering teams. Your work could include managing the reliability and integrity of plant hardware/equipment, technical support and troubleshooting, contributing to new plant designs, construction and improvements, coordinating projects. (This involves planning budgets and contracts, and building relationships with external suppliers and government agencies.), proactively leading and managing health and safety initiatives, managing and monitoring budgets, developing and managing overhaul (turnaround) plans. | Qualifications |
Candidates must be authorized to work in the US on a permanent, full time basis. Minimum GPA is 3.2. Ideal candidates will have proven leadership skills and strong work/internship experience. |
